I was there. This was a great place to see a concert. These two shows are probably the best I saw of Zappa.

My first concert, EVER! I was 14 years old. The show was originally scheduled for The Baltimore Civic Center, which was double booked. We walked up to the doors to find a piece of notebook paper with a note that read, "show moved to Painters Mill". It is a miracle we made it there considering the fact that we didn't have GPS, cell phones or probably even a map back in 1981. I don't remember much about the show itself except that it was in the round and I was totally excited about being there.
